Teens are a unique group of patients with unique needs. This is why Invisalign has a product designed just for teens. Invisalign teen allows your teen’s smile to transform up to 50% faster than with traditional braces.
The Treatment
Your teen’s new smile will begin with a digital 3-D scan using the iTero. Then, we will work closely with the Invisalign treatment specialists to plot each movement of your teen’s smile until we reach a smile that compliments all of your teen’s features and facial structure.
The Aligners
Once the treatment plan has been established, your teen will receive Invisalign clear aligners created with the Invisalign system’s proprietary SmartTrack material. Your teen’s results will depend on him or her following Dr. New’s indications to wear the aligners for 22 hours per day. Invisalign Teen includes a compliance indicator to allow you and the doctor to monitor compliance.
The Transformation
As your teen switches to a different aligner week after week, you will be able to see small changes to their smile. These small changes have been expertly planned to conclude in a perfectly aligned smile. Invisalign Teen even comes with a guarantee that allows you to switch to wires and brackets if you or your teen decide that Invisalign Teen is not for you; you have the first six months of treatment to use the guarantee.
